Postcards in the window

Postcards in th Window, originally uploaded by Photo Dunce.

Postcards in the window of Loyalist City Coins on Germain Street. It’s a great place to pick up cool vintage postcards and old comic books. If you look closely, you can see bits of Germain and Church Streets reflected in the window.

  1. Yesterday I took time out to walk the whole street, SLOWLY. There’s a lot of stuff to explore..

  2. It’ definitely one of the most charming streets in Saint John. Lots of nice architecture which has been preserved and some grand old trees. Saint John seems to have a bad habit of slapping the word “Heritage” on anything old — regardless of whether or not the term is deserved. Germain Street, thankfully, is the exception. A lovely stretch that should be protected and preserved.
